Essential Oils and Aromatherapy for Mental Health & Learning Difficulties (online study)
This course is part of our Level 5 Aromatherapy upgrade diploma or you can do it as standalone CPD. It is perfect for essential oil practitioners and aromatherapists who want to increase their knowledge and skills when working with people who have mental health conditions or for those who wish to work with people who have learning difficulties. There has been an increase in complementary therapists working in special needs schools and supporting charities that work with the many varied types of mental health conditions as listed below. You will be assessed through case study coursework and reflective practice.
Supported by a huge 195 page workbook that you can keep forever! You also have access to your tutor by phone, email, and video call for ongoing support.
Pre-requisite
Applicants will need to already hold a recognised level 3 diploma in essential oil therapy or aromatherapy (or overseas equivalent). By recognised, this means either meeting the Aromatherapy Council’s Core Curriculum in the year it was delivered or the CNHC Core Curriculum, first published in 2018. The Aromatherapy Council has published a UK national standard for training since 1991.
